FOR YOUR SAFETY, PLEASE READ THE BELOW IN ITS ENTIRETY!
Tickets open at noon on Wednesday, October 7th.
Latino Outdoors NYC & Camp Uwani are back it this Fall to complete our remaining Catskills Fire Towers hikes, powered by Merrell!
Our next hike will be a Latine Hertiage Month hike at Balsam Lake Fire Tower (4.3 miles total with 1,200 feet elevation gain)! Bring your flags, jerseys, colores de tu pais and show some regional love & pride on the mountain!
Due to significant time constraints (there’s a 3 hr shuttle ride each way) and elevation gain, this hike is marked as intermediate/challenging and we’ll be moving swiftly at a 30-minute per mile pace or faster. While all ages are welcome to join, we ask all interested participants to please be mindful of the elevation and pace before registering for this trip–both orgs continue to offer more community walks & hikes for everyone to enjoy con calma.
Registration is required and incomplete/duplicate RSVPs will be automatically returned.
WAIVERS
In order to participate in the event, it is required to complete both of our insurance waivers prior to boarding the bus:
– The Latino Outdoors waiver (we’ll have a link soon)
