Latino Outdoors NYC is teaming up with Jocelyn Perez-Blanco from Herban Garden for a morning of plant identification, community, and fresh air around the historic Ridgewood Reservoir.
Whether you’re a seasoned plant lover or just starting to notice the green spaces in the city, this walk is for you. We’ll take a leisurely stroll around the reservoir, learning how to identify local flora, talking about medicinal and native plants, and enjoying time outdoors together as a familia.

- Pace & Level: Leisurely pace, beginner-friendly, all ages welcome.
- Terrain: Flat gravel path, compact dirt, and paved multi-use walkways around the perimeter.
- Facilities: Public bathrooms and water fountains located adjacent to the Vermont Place parking lot; picnic tables nearby.
