Join Southern Nevada Conservancy and Latino Outdoors Las Vegas* in celebrating Día de los Muertos on a guided hike through Red Rock Canyon with an Interpretive Naturalist. Along this 1.25-mile (2 km) moderate hike, discover Utah agave, an iconic plant of the American Southwest, and learn how its remarkable death stalk nourishes future generations in the Mojave Desert. Explore the profound connections between life, death, and renewal, and how these cycles shape the ecological and cultural landscape of Red Rock Canyon.

*Latino Outdoors activities are free and in service to our communities. Our volunteer leaders donate time and energy to plan these experiences, paying close attention to the number of people each event can accommodate. Please only register if you are able to join and honor your reservation. If you are unable to attend an event that you signed up for, please cancel preferably one week prior and no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled outing, so that another community member may participate and volunteer organizers can plan accordingly.
