Join Latino Outdoors Connecticut and Brave Nature Collaborative to celebrate Kids to Parks Day — an annual national day of outdoor play connecting families to the parks in their communities — with a free nature walk and land art morning at Sleeping Giant State Park.

Together we’ll explore the living world around us, create land art from what we find on the trail, and celebrate our connection to the land, to each other, and to ourselves. Complimentary empanadas will be provided. Please bring your own reusable water bottle.

What to expect:

• Welcome circle with land acknowledgment
• Guided sensory nature walk along the trail
• Collaborative land art using natural materials found along the way
• Closing circle with a bilingual poem
