This Queer Caminata at Presidio Overlook brought This Queer Caminata at Presidio Overlook brought community members together for a 6-mile hike with five scenic viewing points along the way. Curated to provide a much-needed safe space for queer, trans, and questioning individuals, these gatherings continue to create opportunities for connection and belonging in la naturaleza 🌱

The group shared, “We are blessed in our comunidad jotería to have such iconic leaders and trailblazers!!!” Throughout the hike, new friendships and meaningful conversations emerged as the San Francisco Bay Area Latino Outdoors community continues cultivating affirming spaces rooted in joy and collective care.

Join us in celebrating Orgullosamente Outdoors this Pride Month! Events like Queer Caminatas create affirming outdoor experiences for Latine LGBTQ+ communities year-round.

🚨 TAKE ACTION: Protect Grand Staircase-Escalante N 🚨 TAKE ACTION: Protect Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument

Senator Mike Lee is expected to advance a Congressional Review Act (CRA) bill within days that would overturn the land-use plan for Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument—a plan shaped through years of input from Tribes, scientists, local communities, and public stakeholders.

This isn’t just about one monument. 🦎

If passed, this legislation could set a dangerous precedent, allowing politicians in Washington to overturn land-use plans for protected public lands across the country.

📢 Tell your Senators: Vote NO on the CRA bill.
