In June, it can be quite warm in the inland valleys. Stay cool and join Latino Outdoors Central Coast for a two hike coastal adventure in San Simeon. Meet at the Washburn Day Use Area where we will begin the day with a hike on the San Simeon Creek Trail which is a family-friendly, easy 3.5 mile loop trail through the marsh, pine forest, riparian habitat, and open grasslands. There are gorgeous panoramic views of the Santa Lucia Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Upon return, we will eat lunch in one of the day use areas. From Hearst San Simeon State Park we will hike the San Simeon Point Trail. This easy 2.5 mile trail includes a walk through the trees and scenic overlooks.

Preparation: Carry plenty of water, snacks, hat, sunscreen, and wear sturdy shoes. Bring a lunch. All ages welcome.

Waiver: All participants are asked to sign the Latino Outdoors waiver.

En junio, puede hacer bastante calor en los valles del interior. Refréscate y únese a Latino Outdoors Central Coast para una aventura costera de dos caminatas en San Simeon. Nos reuniremos en el área de uso diurno de Washburn donde comenzaremos el día con una caminata por el sendero San Simeon Creek Trail, un sendero circular fácil de 5.6 km (3.5 millas) apto para toda la familia que atraviesa marismas, pinares, hábitat ribereño y praderas abiertas.
