In celebration of Monterey Bay Festival of Birds, LO Central Coast invites you for a beginner birding walk at Elkhorn Slough Reserve

Join bilingual leaders from Latino Outdoors Central Coast and Central Coast Bird Collective for a beginner birding walk to learn about birds and the Elkhorn Slough Reserve. The 2.2 mile Oak Loop Trail features all of the Reserve’s habitats including mudflats and tidal channels . Learn to identify songbirds and wetland species and enjoy a delicous breakfast burrito.

This is an easy, accessible walk, with mostly flat trail. Binoculars will be provided and all ages are welcome. Wear comfortable walking shoes, a hat, and bring a water bottle.
