All good things must come to an end and we’re crying happy tears to be hiking the 8th and last mountain to complete the Catskills Fire Tower Challenge! Join us as we hike up Red Hill Fire Tower (3.6 miles with 1,026 feet of elevation gain). This is considered a beginner/intermediate hike and we’ll be moving at a leisurely 30-min per mile pace. And, yes, it’s October 31st so please come wearing your fav ghoulish costume as we enjoy some treats (raffles and gifts) at the summit!
Transportation is provided. Just bring your lunch and hiking boots!
This months-long series has been made possible through the ongoing love between Latino Outdoors and Camp Uwani, the essential transportation and footwear powered by Merrell, as well as support and swag by NYS DEC! A million times over, thank you for helping make these outdoor spaces accessible to everyone and supporting us in this incredible journey!
While all ages are welcome to join, we ask all interested participants to please be mindful of the elevation and pace before registering for this trip–both orgs continue to offer more community walks & hikes for everyone to enjoy con calma.
