Join us for a hike to the Royal Arch at Chautauqua Park! After the hike, pop over to Festival del Sol to celebrate Latine Heritage Month.

L atino Outdoors Colorado is leading a hike up to the Royal Arch at Chautauqua Park ahead of this year’s annual free and bilingual Festival del Sol. We will complete the hike and then head over to the festival together!

Colorado Chautauqua is proud to present the fourth annual free and bilingual Festival Del Sol on Sunday, September 22nd! Enjoy live music, food and beverages, guided hikes, Latin dance lessons, family activities and games. Kick off National Hispanic Heritage Month by celebrating the vibrancy of Latino culture in the stunning surroundings of Chautauqua!

The hike will begin at 9:30 a.m. and go until 12:00 p.m. The festival goes from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

During the week before the event, you will receive another email with more instructions on preparing for the event.

As a volunteer-led chapter of Latino Outdoors, we rely on the language skill sets of our volunteers and partners. Due to limited capacity and funding, we are not able to provide consistent multilingual, Spanish-language programming, or other Native languages. As an organization, we value transparency and Language Justice, and we want to make sure that our participants are aware of what to expect at each event. The programming for this event will be in English and there will not be formal Spanish interpretation integrated into the event.
