To celebrate Halloween, Function Wellness and LO Colorado are hosting a 7.0 mile community bike ride touring haunted areas in Denver.

To celebrate Halloween, Function Wellness and Latino Outdoors Colorado are teaming up to host a 7.0-mile community bike ride touring different haunted areas in Denver. We’ll start the ride at the Grant Street Mansion and end the ride at Patterson Inn. We’ll grab a drink at Twelve Spirits Tavern, located in the basement of Patterson Inn, to finish off the night in spooky style.

Learn more about the haunted tales of the Paterson Inn here.

If you’re interested in joining us but have any additional questions, please email us at (hello@functionxwellness.com). Registration for this event is required, and all participants are also required to complete a Latino Outdoors waiver before attending (the waiver can be found here).

RIDE INFORMATION:

A BOUT FUNCTION WELLNESS:

  • Overview: Function f(x) Wellness is a wellness brand based in Denver, CO that was started by Aimara Rodriguez alongside her brother Carlos Rodriguez, a fitness advocate and personal trainer with over a decade of experience. As brown people who enjoy climbing mountains and training for functionality, they were motivated by a shared mission of creating more access to the outdoors for communities of color and decreasing the knowledge gap about health and wellness in these communities.
  • Meet The Team: Aimara Rodriguez (Co-founder and Head of Business Operations), Carlos Rodriguez (Co-founder and Lead Trainer), and Emma Dominguez-Millan (Head of Programming and Lead Trainer).

COMMUNITY REMINDER:

  • Attendance: Latino Outdoors activities are free and in service to our communities. Our volunteer leaders donate time and energy to plan these experiences, paying close attention to the number of people each event can accommodate. Please honor your reservation, and if you are unable to attend an event that you signed up for, take a moment to cancel your reservation, preferably one week prior to the event, so that another community member may participate and volunteer organizers can plan accordingly. We greatly appreciate it!
  • Language Transparency: We want to make sure that both English and Spanish language preferences are honored at the event. Our leaders are proficient in both English and Spanish and will have the ability to speak in both languages to ensure that all key event information is being shared with our entire group.
