Duties

Career-Seasonal appointments are permanent positions and include the same benefits as Career appointments, but do not provide work on a year-round basis. You will be in a non-pay status for 1 pay period, sometime in November to December, and you will be in a pay status for the reminder of the year.

Major Duties:

• Wilderness Information (Trip Planning)
• Wilderness Use Management and Permit Issuance
• Fee Collection (corollary to permit issuance)
• Visitor Contacts, Field Patrols, and Resource Monitoring
• Training and supervising lower level employees
