Join Latino Outdoors alongside botany expert Glen Holstein, Ph.D. and Certified California Naturalist Nate Lillge on a wildflower tour in the Berryessa Snow Mountain Snow Mountain National Monument region. The tour will include some of the best wildflower viewing areas in the region. Glen and Nate will lead discussions about the types of wildflowers, the conditions needed for each species to grow, and how past and present human activity is impacting wildflowers. Most of this tour will be done by automobile with stops that will allow for photographing and educational tidbits. The tour usually takes all day and fills up fast, so sign up quickly to be a part of it!
Things to Be Aware Of:
- Bring your own car.
- We will be stopping along the road throughout the tour to check out the wildflowers.
- The tour usually lasts the whole day, so please prepare to spend the day with us 😊
- We will have some time to eat snacks/lunch (bring your favorite snack!).
- Once you sign up, you will receive an email from Tuleyome with details about the event (location, etc.).
Cancellations:
Latino Outdoors activities are free and in service to our communities. Our volunteer leaders donate time and energy to plan these experiences, paying close attention to the number of people each event can accommodate. Please only register if you are able to join and honor your reservation. If you are unable to attend an event that you signed up for, please cancel preferably one week prior and no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled outing, so that another community member may participate and volunteer organizers can plan accordingly. Your consideration helps keep these experiences meaningful and accessible. We appreciate you!
