Join us for an easy-moderate 2-mile hike on Water Canyon Trail to the historic Hunt Ranch.

Invite your friends/family (18+ only) to join, but please have them sign up on Eventbrite.

Liability Waiver:

Once you’re registered, please come back and fill out the liability waiver in English or Spanish. It is imperative that this is filled out prior to the outing, as cell service is spotty.

Difficulty of the hike

This is rated as an easy-moderate 2-mile hike round-trip. There is not much elevation gain, and the trail, despite being dirt, is well-paved and maintained. The trail is very exposed. Due to unseasonal heat, this may prove a challenge to some, so it is advisable to have water, appropriate clothing, sunscreen, etc is, recommended.

Parking

There’s plenty of parking in a dirt lot by the entrance of the park. There are restrooms at the park, but not during the hike. Please get there with enough time to go to the restroom before we get on the trail.

· Tennis shoes or hiking boots with great tread

· Comfortable clothes for walking

Itinerary

8:30 AM – Meet at the entrance to the park/trail entrance

8:45 AM – Begin the hike

~9:30 AM – Arrive at Hunt Ranch/Explore ranch

~10:30 AM – Hike back to the trail entrance

~11:30 AM – Group photo/conclusion
