Please join us this Sunday, October 9th for our first Full Moon Hike. We will meet at Beal’s Point at Folsom Recreation Area parking around sunset to get acquainted with our surroundings before our stroll. We will go over a couple of safety precautions. After our hike, we can socially distance at the picnic tables with snacks.
This is a family-friendly event for all ages. Dogs are welcome and we ask participants to follow California State Parks rule to be on leash at all times.
You don’t need much but here’s what you’ll need:
- $12.00 parking per vehicle
- Comfortable shoes for walking.
- Water
- Snacks
- Flashlight or headlamp
You will need to sign this waiver before the event.
Dress in layers; it can get windy and cold along the lake! Think jackets, beanies, scarves and/or gloves.
Optional for post-hike:
- Picnic blanket
- Telescope
- Glow sticks
- Acoustic instruments
As the pandemic evolves, so will our approach to keeping you safe. We thank you for your flexibility as we manage this, and invite you to check in with us if you have any questions.
