The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is looking for a Financial Business Transformation Manager to lead and oversee OFBE’s efforts to optimize financial-business operations, focused initially on financial readiness for implementation of One Washington’s new statewide financial system. You will lead and oversee activities to implement new processes, policies and procedures and orchestrate project plan activities to fulfill One WA deliverables. This position provides an invaluable opportunity for an individual with management analyst and financial experience to improve DNR’s overall financial-business operations and increase the financial competencies of both agency management and staff. After full implementation of One WA, you will continue lead efforts to improve financial-business operations, leading cross-agency teams, to develop, implement and evaluate improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or accounting related field, and Four (4) or more years’ performing professional level accounting functions and supervising professional level accounting staff; OR An equivalent combination of education and/or experience in related field.
- Possesses exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate complex fiscal issues orally and in writing to a variety of audiences.
- Possesses proficiency in use of computer applications/software, including Microsoft Excel.
