Accounts Payables/Receivables Specialist, Fiscal Analyst 1 (FA1)
Location: Pacific Cascade Region- Castle Rock, WA

Partial Telework flexibility may be available and considered
Relocation Compensation may be available and considered
Salary: $3,477.00 – $4,632.00

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, create, review, and correct payments for region expenditures, including travel vouchers, travel advances, petty cash, and A-19 reimbursements.
  • Audits, reviews, and processes invoices and travel documents.
  • Independently interpret rules and guidelines
  • Ensure accurate application of payments, internal controls and resolving complex application issues for all funds received in PC Region
  • Provides guidance to region staff on issues related to accounts receivable.
  • Provides guidance on accounts payable processes.
  • Analyze and reconcile payroll information while processing payroll for an assigned section of employees.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Associate degree in accounting or a related field AND one year of experience in a fiscal or accounting field. OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Successful completion of 15 credit hours of college-level accounting, auditing, or budgeting.
  • Experience with Payroll and/or Accounts Payable
  • Experience with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience in researching, interpreting, following, and explaining rules, regulations, fiscal controls, and other applicable regulations
  • Experience communicating effectively with both oral and written communication (active listening and questioning)
  • Experience using a ten-key calculator.
  • Fiscal Accountability – Responsibly and accurately handles the public’s money when processing financial transactions and/or committing fiscal resources.
