Outward Bound California (OBCA) is hiring at our High Sierra basecamp for summer 2025! Bring your love for community building and adventure to the Sierra Nevada Mountains. 

We have multiple openings for a variety of experience levels, including: Program Intern ($1240/month), Logistics Coordinator ($128/day), Backpacking Instructor ($128/day), or a Program Manager ($3500-3900/month). Who We Are

At OBCA, we run backpacking and rock climbing courses with students (ages 12+). Our programs take students into new and challenging outdoor environments while focusing on leadership, community, and personal growth. We are a part of the  Outward Bound USA network with a 60-year history in the US as a leading provider of outdoor education. OBCA is a non-profit and is committed to increasing access for those who have traditionally been excluded from outdoor spaces.
