$99,200 – $128,956 per year

Duties
The major duties of the Supervisory Park Ranger (I) position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Performs supervisory duties. Directly supervises GS-0080-11 Physical Security Specialist, GS-0025-09 permanent Park Ranger (Interpretation), GS-0025-07/09 permanent Park Ranger (Interpretation) with EMT, a GS-1084-07 Visual Information Specialist, a GS-0640-05 Health Technician, a GS-0090-04/05 Park Guide (career seasonal), and up to 20 GS-0303 Visitor Service Assistants at the GS-03, GS-04, and GS-05 levels
  • Oversees interpretive and visitor services operations for Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts.
  • Manage an emergency services operation.
  • Work effectively with other divisions, the Foundation, U.S. Park Police, cooperating association, and other partners.
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
