Duties

• Employee must have knowledge of trail construction and maintenance techniques and must be able to recognize existing and future maintenance problems.
• Can teach and demonstrate trail maintenance and construction methods and techniques to lower graded park staff and volunteers.
• Performs and leads carpentry and masonry work at a high level of competency, often taking on the most complicated phases of project work assigned to the crew.
• Performs and leads rigging operations at a high level of competency, often taking on the most complicated phases of project work assigned to the crew.
• Transports tools, materials, employees, vehicles, and equipment with variety of vehicles weighing under 26,000 GVW to job sites.
