Summary
These positions are located at North Cascades National Park/Point Reyes National Seashore/Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, in the Superintendent’s Office. There are three (3) vacancies. One (1) position will be filled at each park.

Duties
You will serve as the principal assistant to the Superintendent in the overall administration, planning, development, interpretation, protection, maintenance, and operations of the park.

• Manages day-to-day operation of the park including (but not limited to): resources management, visitor and resource protection, fees, interpretation, education, volunteers, administration, business services, and safety.
• Supervision of subordinate supervisors/managers.
• Advise Superintendent in interpretation of NPS policies, directives, guidelines, and standards.
  Serves as key official responsible for directing and supervising the activities of the park staff related to internal operations.
• Carries out for the Superintendent, designated phases of management in all operational areas and assists the Superintendent in formulating and executing comprehensive programs and plans for the park.

Salary Ranges:

• Point Reyes National Seashore- Point Reyes Station, CA: $152,105 – $191,900
• Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area- Thousand Oaks, CA: $142,094 – $184.725
• North Cascades National Park – Sedro Woolley, WA : $136,832- $177,885
