📌 Key Responsibilities:

• Law Enforcement: Enforce federal laws, regulations, and policies to protect park resources and visitors.
• Patrol Duties: Patrol both front country and backcountry sites to ensure compliance and safety.
  Emergency Response: Be part of emergency services like medical response, search and rescue, and fire suppression (wildland/structural).
• Visitor Support: Guide visitor orientation, wilderness management, and boundary enforcement while protecting natural and cultural resources.
• Investigations: Assist with investigating felonies, crimes, public use violations, and motor vehicle accidents.
• Crowd Control: Manage crowds in busy areas to ensure safety and compliance.
  📌 Additional Duties for GS-7 Level:
  • Conduct law enforcement investigations into misdemeanor violations independently.

Assist Type I commissioned personnel with investigating felony violations and fatalities.
