Join us for a wildflower walk on Sunday, May 12th at 10am at Sierra Azul Open Space Preserve.
Join us and our partners, Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District, for a Wildflower Walk at Sierra Azul Open Space Preserve at 10am. We will walk slowly and make frequent stops to learn about the local blooming flowers, focusing on the CA native plants and their traditonal and medicinal uses.
Things to note:
- We will be walking on the Bald Mountain Trail. It is an easy trail, with only about 100 ft in elevation, so it is mostly flat. It is about 1.3 miles long. There is no shade, so please wear sun protection (hat/sunscreen). Great for the whole family.
- NO pets allowed.
- Parking is limited, PLEASE carpool, and arrive early to the Sierra Azul Open Space Preserve Bald Mountain parking lot.
- We will have food, and snacks to share.
