Cruise around Santa Margarita Lake on a pontoon and enjoy a very peaceful and beautiful setting.

Spring is a wonderful time to get out on the water. Join Rouvaishyana and Celeste Royer as they guide the group around Santa Margarita Lake for a two hour cruise on pontoons. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area along with beautiful and peaceful views of the lakeshore and nearby hills.

Logistics:

  • Meet at the Rideshare parking lot on Highway 58 at US 101, north of San Luis Obispo and south of Atascadero, at 8:30 am. The group will either caravan or carpool to the marina to rent the pontoons (rental cost paid for by Latino Outdoors).
  • The cruise will last two hours (approximately 9:30 to 11:30 am). The outing will conclude around noontime.
  • Please dress comfortably preparing for sunny and/or cool weather and wear comfortable shoes. Wear sunscreen, bring a hat, and a water bottle. If you have binoculars, please bring them for wildlife viewing.
  • Snacks will be provided. There are several picnic sites near the lakeshore should you want to bring a picnic lunch and stay longer to enjoy the area.
  • The event is bilingual.

La primavera es una época maravillosa para salir al agua. Únase a Rouvaishyana y Celeste Royer mientras guían al grupo por el lago Santa Margarita en un crucero de dos horas en pontones. Hay una gran cantidad de vida silvestre en el área junto con hermosas y tranquilas vistas de la orilla del lago y las colinas cercanas.

Logística:

  • Nos reunimos en el estacionamiento de viajes compartidos en la autopista 58 en la US 101, al norte de San Luis Obispo y al sur de Atascadero, a las 8:30 a. m. El grupo viajará en caravana o viajará en auto al puerto deportivo para alquilar los pontones (el costo del alquiler lo pagará Latino Outdoors).
