Sobre este evento: Esta primavera, Latino Outdoors Arkansas está organizando su primer evento anual #SemillitasOutdoors, una nueva iniciativa latina de actividad al aire libre con enfoque hacia los niños y una semana para ofrecer una experiencia diurna familiar (todas las edades) al aire libre. Con intérpretes de la naturaleza del Parque Estatal Pinnacle Mountain Arkansas, ofreceremos actividades que centren la experiencia de los jóvenes latinos y sus familias.

Exploraremos y haremos paradas frecuentes para hacer observaciones y aprender sobre las plantas y animales que encontramos en el camino. Esta será una caminata fácil, de aproximadamente 0.5 millas, en un sendero pavimentado accesible. ¡Todos son bienvenidos!

Semillitas Outdoors es una celebración para los niños con actividad al aire libre que dura una semana. En todo el país, Latino Outdoors ofrecerá salidas/eventos virtuales y en persona que centren la experiencia de los niños latinos y sus familias. A través de los tres programas interconectados de LO, apoyaremos y celebraremos el acceso de los niños al aire libre y los espacios de liderazgo y construiremos conexiones positivas con el proceso de salir.

Exploration Walk and Picnic Activity for Kids

Lugar: Pinnacle Mountain State Park, 11901 Pinnacle Valley Road, Little Rock, AR 72223. At Kingfisher Trail, Picnic Area and Playground Area.

Organizer: Latino Outdoors – Arkansas

Event: Join us on Sunday, May 1st at 10 am for a fun nature exploration walk and to learn about plants, wildflowers, animals, and birds that can be seen at this trail!

About this event: This Spring, Latino Outdoors AR will host our first annual #SemillitasOutdoors, a new Latino Outdoors initiative celebrating children in the outdoors and a week to offer a family friendly (all age) day experience outdoors. With nature interpreters from Pinnacle Mountain Arkansas State Park, we will offer activities that center the experience of Latinx youth and their families.

We will explore Lands End and make frequent stops to make observations and learn about the plants and animals we find along the way. This will be an easy walk, about .5 mile, on an accessible paved trail. Everyone is welcome!

We will have plenty of laughter, snacks, and giveaways to share with all!

Semillitas Outdoors is a week-long celebration of children in the outdoors. Across the country, Latino Outdoors will offer virtual and in-person outings/events that center the experience of Latinx children and their families. Through LO’s three inter-connected programs, we will support and celebrate children’s access to the outdoors and leadership spaces and build positive connections to the process of getting outside.
