Join the Bronx Green-Up team and Latino Outdoors as we dive into the fascinating world of fungi!  In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the essentials of mushroom cultivation, including the life cycle and ecological roles of fungi, how to select wood and prepare logs, techniques for spawn handling, inoculation, sealing, and best practices for log storage and care. All participants are welcome to keep their mushroom logs, too! Bring the whole family learn all the skills you need to grow your own mushrooms at home!

Handwarmers, hot coco, and tea will be provided.
