This year, we’d like to honor the Day of the Dead together! Join us at Word Up Bookshop to create marigolds, decorations, and picture frames; and assemble a community altar in their window display. Throughout the evening, we’ll share the significance of the holiday, enjoy traditional baked goods, and host a moment of silence and reflection together as we remember our loved ones and ancestors. Feel free to bring items to contribute to the altar (non-perishables) as well as photos of loved ones (4×6 inches recommended). You can also email us photos at NYC@LatinoOutdoors.org and we’ll make sure to print them out and bring them to the event. This event is free for those who register at the link in our bio.
