Join Latino Outdoors Central Coast and the Land Conservancy of SLO County as they host a walk in the Pismo Preserve.

Latino Outdoors Central Coast, in collaboration with the Land Conservancy of SLO County, invite you to a walk along the trails of the Pismo Preserve.

The Pismo Preserve, owned by the Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo County, offers truly exceptional and diverse recreational opportunities. The Pismo Preserve has over 11 miles of trails traversing serene oak woodlands and coastal ridgelines with stunning panoramic vistas of the Pacific Ocean stretching from the Irish Hills to Point Sal. Logistics:

  • The Pismo Preserve is located off exit 191B from US Highway 101 in Pismo Beach. The entrance and parking lot are located on the east side of the freeway at the very southern end of Mattie Road.
  • Meet at the trail head at 8:30 am. The walk will conclude by noon.
  • Dress comfortably for an approximately 4 mile walk and wear closed-toes shoes. The hike is moderate level.
  • Bring a hat, sunscreen, and a water bottle. Snacks will be provided.
  • All ages are welcome.
