Don’t let wet weather deter you from enjoying nature’s beauty! Join Latino Outdoors and Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District as we explore the exciting habitat of rolling grassland ridges on our walk to Harrington Creek. There will be raptors, gorgeous views, animal tracks and so much more. As we make our way through rich habitat teeming with life, we will be discussing the necessary gear to ensure an enjoyable experience while hiking in the rain.
Be sure to bring water, snacks/lunch, adequate hiking gear, sunscreen, hats and any other items that will make this an enjoyable experience for you!
If you would like to carpool or caravan, please meet at the Midpen Office parking lot (330 Distel Circle, Los Altos, CA, 94022) by 9 am. We will leave the office parking lot at 9:15 am to drive to the preserve. If you are driving directly, please arrive at the preserve by 9:45 am.
The hike starts at 10 am at La Honda Creek Open Space Preserve.
