Join Latino Outdoors and local Naturalist Patty Pasztor as explore and experience Crownridge Canyon Natural Area. We will enjoy a leisurely walk and explore the uses of native plants for food, fiber, shelter and more. Additionally, participants will learn about local winter birds while taking in the sights and sounds of the park. Crownridge Canyon was the first City Natural Area developed as part of the Edwards Aquifer Protection ballot initiative. The 200-acre preserve features Level 1 ADA trails and Level 4 hiking trails through a variety of habitats. Features include a canopy level bridge overlook, beautiful forested canyon bottoms, hillside vistas, and restored grasslands.
We are excited to start the year discovering the Texas trails. We are limited on this hike to 13 people because we only have one Patty : ). Vamos Afuera!!
